Channel Missions is actively raising money for The Hiding Place. 

The Hiding Place is working towards creating  a safe and discrete place to recover from domestic violence with dignity, hope, and healing. 

The Hiding Place is the newest program of Channel Missions. Our goal with The Hiding Place is to provide resources for domestic violence victims as they begin navigating the healing journey. Through this program, we want to help the survivors become thrivers that can succeed independently on their own, without holding their identity within the abuse and while also breaking generational curses. We are currently in the process of signing a lease agreement with a local organization. That piece of property is where we will be starting the emergency housing program for victims and survivors in Pickens County. On this property, there is a facility that is move-in ready for us! With funding, we could begin operating immediately. We have recognized the great need for housing resources in our community considering that there is no shelter for domestic violence victims located in Pickens County. With heart-wrenching statistics proven year after year in SC making the state sit in the top 10 in the nation for domestic violence victims, we feel the urge to step up and create safe spaces for victims. On this property, we will be offering emergency housing, therapy and counseling sessions, and resourcing for aid.
