💛 Team Charlie: Standing Strong with the Herbert Family!

When a child is sick, everything else stops — your thoughts, your priorities, your heart — and all that matters is finding a way to help, even when you feel completely helpless.

The Herbert family, are now facing what no family ever should. Their son, Charlie, has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. What began as what doctors believed was a benign tumor on his spine turned out to be something far more serious. The road ahead will be long and difficult — physically, emotionally, and financially. Anyone who knows the Herberts knows they’re the first to help others and the last to ask for help themselves. But now, it’s our turn to lift them up. Between time away from work, medical treatments, travel, and everyday living costs, the challenges they face are immense.

That’s why the Seaford Broncos, along with other Seaford organizations, are coming together to rally around the Herberts and support them in any way we can. Every donation will go directly toward helping ease their financial burden, so they can focus on what matters most: helping Charlie fight and heal.

If you’ve ever met Charlie or seen him out on the field, you know he’s tough as nails — determined, fearless, and full of life. He gets that strength from his amazing family, and he’s ready to take on this fight with everything he’s got. Let’s show Charlie and the Herberts that their community is standing firmly beside them. Together, we can make sure they never feel alone in this battle.
