CHASExcellence exists to honor the life and legacy of Chase. Together with the generosity and partnership of our community, we invest in student athletes through scholarships that recognize excellence in Composure, Dedication, Toughness, and Unity. Rooted in faith, we believe God brings hope from heartbreak and purpose from pain. By shining light where there has been loss, we strive to ensure that Chase’s legacy continues to inspire excellence, create opportunity, and impact future generations.

OUR STORY

On August 30, 2024, our world changed forever. At just 12 years old, Chase was taken from us in a tragic car accident. The loss left a void, one that only Jesus could fill. As we walked through the darkest grief, we experienced something extraordinary. Family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and even strangers surrounded us with love, encouragement, and prayer. Most importantly, we experienced the faithful presence of Jesus. He carried us day by day, gave us a peace that surpasses understanding, and taught us the difference between temporary happiness and the lasting joy found only in Him. From that heartbreak, God planted a new purpose. Rather than allowing tragedy to define Chase’s story, we chose to let his legacy continue through the lives of others. CHASExcellence was born from a desire to transform pain into purpose by investing in young athletes who exemplify excellence. Together with the support of our community, we are creating opportunities to celebrate excellence in others while ensuring Chase’s legacy continues into the future.
