The Chashmonaim unit was created with one national goal: build a viable combat path for Chareidi enlistment into the IDF.

We are 23 Miluim-age soldiers. Fathers. Husbands. Working men. We left our families for six months to complete full combat training and add real numbers to Israel's reserve combat force.

Am Yisrael needs more fighters. Not tomorrow. Now. We stepped forward.

What Happens Next

In April, we complete training. Immediately after, we enter several weeks of operational combat missions before joining the Miluim rotation.

We are not a symbol. We are not a pilot project. We are an operational combat force.

The Reality

Each soldier needs a personal combat vest with ballistic plates and a combat helmet, his own gear, at home, ready to deploy immediately.

October 7th made this painfully clear: readiness saves lives. When gear is centralized, delayed, or incomplete, response time suffers. When a soldier has his own equipment, he can move within minutes.

We are building a culture of responsibility and preparedness.

Why This Matters

This platoon represents Chareidi soldiers stepping into combat roles. Miluim fathers and professionals choosing to serve. A bridge between communities. A direct strengthening of Israel's security infrastructure.
