About The Chasing Pinnacle Project

Our Beginning:

The Chasing Pinnacle Project began when six close friends sat down before the end of their junior year of college, realizing that their time as a community together was only one year from its close.

As a professional dancer, a veterinarian, a nurse, a physician's assistant, an engineer, and hospitality entrepreneur, we knew that our paths would most likely not cross again by sheer chance. We decided to plan a road trip, for what better way to enjoy our community than to spend every moment together? We value our community because we have such unity in our diversity. We chose to then align our trip with this value. What better way to explore diversity than to see it in the places we go, in the people we meet, and in the things we learn about one another through this experience?

"The Chasing Pinnacles Project" title came from our brainstorming session in a feel-good taste-good coffee shop one day this summer. Upon reflection, we realized that we are all chasing different goals, climbing separate mountains to reach individualized pinnacles. Yet, the one thing we have in common is our Christian faith. We love Jesus, deep and strong. Despite our myriad of differences, our faith is what rallies us together. Together, we are chasing an array of dreams to summit, but the pinnacle of our joy is this rich and deeply rooted community.

OUR Mission:

The Chasing Pinnacle project is a journey in which 6 friends will be traveling through nearly 20 states on the adventure of a lifetime. Together, we will be exploring not only the natural world and all its wonders but also the means of how to communicate and connect with different communities and peoples of different cultural backgrounds.

Together, we will present pieces of the myriad of unique peoples that they meet and the breathtaking yet incredibly diverse places that they see. Through the mediums of visual and written media, we will present this nation as it is - incredibly mesmerizing and beautiful in its great polarity, from land to sea and all the people in between.
