The Chatelaines Dance Team is a 23-time state championship winning team dedicated to building self-esteem, work ethic, teamwork, and a love of dance.

The team trains and performs year-round.

The Chatelaines:

Perform at Kentridge High School home football games and select basketball and volleyball games
Host youth dance camps for the community
Put on a Fall Dance Showcase
Host an annual WSDDCA dance competition (traditionally Kick It Up)
Compete in six WSDDCA competitions, including district, junior championship and state every year they've been held.

In the past, family and friends have helped the Kentridge Chatelaines Boosters provide:

Meals for the dancers at competitions (full day)
Twylas (dance shoes need replacing multiple times in the year)
Choreography for new dances for competition
Scholarships for Team Fees and summer dance camps
State Competition expenses - hotel rooms for dancers, meals, and potentially a transportation upgrade.
Many other items large and small that improve the experience of the dancers.
