I am excited to be back on Cheer DC! This season we are helping raise money for Rainbow Families.  

According to the Rainbow Families website, “Rainbow Families supports, educates and connects lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) families, parents and prospective parents by offering a wide variety of education programs, support groups, opportunities to connect and more. Rainbow Families is a volunteer-led non-profit organization supported by members, community sponsors, private and public grants and foundations.” At this pivotal time in our nation, normalizing existences and validating lived experiences of LGBTQ+ families in all neighborhoods is critical in creating safe spaces and communities for LGBTQ+ individuals, especially youth. We love to be competitive, but please remember the ultimate winners are those who we support!
