Growing food is only half the education. Knowing what to do with it once it comes out of the ground is where the real transformation happens. This campaign funds a series of chef-led cooking workshops that take participants from the soil to the stove, teaching them how to prepare real meals from what the farm grows and giving them the skills and confidence to replicate it at home.

Our workshops are not cooking classes in the traditional sense. They are full farm-to-table experiences where participants pick the produce, learn its nutritional value, watch a professional chef prepare it, eat together as a community, and leave with the recipe and the knowledge to do it again on their own. We are building food literacy from the ground up.

Workshops are designed for all ages and all skill levels. Whether you have never cooked a meal from scratch or you cook every day, there is something here that will change the way you think about what is on your plate.

How your donation will be used:
Funds go toward chef compensation, kitchen equipment and supplies, workshop materials, produce costs for sessions not grown on site during early programming phases, and curriculum development for a rotating seasonal menu tied directly to what the farm is producing.

How it will be tracked and reported:
Each workshop is documented with attendance records, participant feedback, and a full cost breakdown. Donors receive quarterly reports showing how many workshops were held, how many people participated, and what was on the menu. Photos and video from workshops will be shared with donors as part of regular impact updates.

Why this matters:
Food sovereignty starts with knowing how to feed yourself. We are teaching that skill to anyone who shows up, regardless of background, income, or experience.
