Dear Chelsea Mikvah Friends,

For over 12 years, the Chelsea Community Mikvah has proudly served women across Chelsea, the West Village, East Village, Gramercy, and Tribeca, offering a space of beauty, dignity, and intention.

Three years ago, as usage grew, we beautifully renovated the mikvah and added an additional preparation room, deepening the experience while honoring the holiness of the mitzvah.

Today, we are reaching out with transparency. The mikvah is facing a significant financial strain, driven by the essential costs of heating and maintaining the mikvah pool and the daily cleaning and materials required to uphold halachic and pristine excellence.

Please know: all administration and attendants are volunteers, there is no administrative overhead, and every dollar you gift goes directly to sustaining the mikvah.

Supporting the mikvah is an act of Jewish continuity, resilience, and pride — ensuring this sacred chain remains unbroken.

Those with a Donor-Advised Fund are warmly encouraged to consider an end-of-year, fully tax-deductible gift.
