Help Chicago Artist Guide build an online platform that will connect theatres with artists and help them diversify their casting and hiring.

Theater artists face many barriers - physical and economic - in the pursuit of their passion. And, while the Chicago theater is very communal, it tends to be insular and closed. Chicago Artist Guide intends to change this.

By developing an online casting and hiring platform, we can connect theater companies to a more diverse set of artists, designers, and technicians. We also can aid in the formation of new theater companies led by new and diverse voices.

In order to launch the first version of our platform by December 2022, we must raise $15,000 by the end of the year!

Our dream is to enable the Chicago theater community to tell a broader range of stories, cast roles with similarly-identifying actors, and ultimately, integrate more people into the magical world of live theater. Your support will help this dream become a reality!
