Campaign cover for Chief Earl Old Person Leadership Award

Chief Earl Old Person Leadership Award

The Chief Earl Old Person Leadership Award is the highest honor bestowed by Blackfeet Community College. Each year, it recognizes one faculty member and one staff member who exemplify outstanding leadership and a deep commitment to students, community service, and cultural integrity.

This award reflects the values of Chief Earl Old Person and honors the wishes of his family by recognizing individuals who lead with character, vision, and a dedication to developing future leaders while supporting the continued growth of Blackfeet Community College.

Contributions to this fund are invested to ensure the long-term sustainability of the award for generations to come. Through this effort, we not only honor the lifetime of leadership demonstrated by Chief Earl Old Person, but also affirm that his legacy continues to inspire others and strengthen the college’s ability to fulfill its vision, mission, and core values.

This campaign is shared in recognition of Chief Earl Old Person’s birthday on April 13, a time to reflect on his enduring contributions to the Blackfeet Nation through his leadership, service, and commitment to preserving the Blackfeet language and culture.

Your support helps sustain this meaningful honor and ensures that those who lead with integrity and purpose are recognized. It is our hope that this investment fund will continue to grow, expanding its impact beyond these awards and further supporting the future of the college and community in the image of Chief Earl Old Person.
