As cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by the federal government take effect, Utah leaders from business, government, philanthropy, and nonprofit sectors are uniting to send a clear message: it’s time to take action to ensure no child in Utah goes hungry.
Ryan and Ashley Smith (SEG Foundation), The Policy Project, Utah Speaker of the House Mike Schultz and his wife Melissa Schultz, Instructure, Lincoln-Hill Partners and Raegan Shurtz, Jeremy and Kristin Andrus (Traeger), Vess and Angie Pearson (Aptive), Factory for Good, the Boone Foundation are coming together to underscore the reality of food insecurity in Utah and call on community members to take action.
All funds raised will go to school districts facing meal program deficits, bolstering their budgets and ensuring that the students who need it most continue to receive school meals.
Thank you for supporting food security for Utah children and families!
