Mission Appeal for Chipata Diocese, Zambia

To this day, our Lord continues to call young men in Chipata Diocese, to himself for the sake of priestly ministry, and the need for financial support crucially remains during their time of formation in the seminary. The formation program takes a great deal of time, focus, academic input, spiritual and human formation and commitment from our seminarians. 

Every year, all the parishes make a special collection for financial support of our seminarians. The contributions are not sufficient to meet the seminary financial requirements. With a rising cost of living, and economic challenges that most families face today, our seminarians cannot afford to continue their studies without help.  Often our local communities do not have the means and adequate financial resources to ensure our priests are well trained.
