As you well know, our community is facing continuous threats, and too many LGBTQ+ people are feeling tremendously isolated and scared. You may be too.

As we celebrate our historic 30th anniversary, the LGBT National Help Center, through our main program the LGBT National Hotline (www.LGBThotline.org), as well as our ten other national programs, have been a critical lifeline for hundreds of thousands of individuals seeking help. These programs offer life-affirming support, affirmation, and a community connection that many have never experienced or thought possible. Not only do they find the support they deserve, but they also find an LGBTQ+ community that cares and loves them.

We are distinctly different from other hotlines that serve our community. While other important organizations focus on suicide and youth only, our focus is on both youth and adults of all ages, and critically, we strive to provide Care Before Crisis. We want to step-in and provide peer-support before someone reaches the point of crisis.

As an LGBTQ+ business, you are a leader and a beacon, helping to show that our community exists. Operating our crisis prevention hotlines is not something we can do alone.
