At Whalen’s Heroes, we are honored to provide professionally trained service dogs to Veterans and First Responders battling PTSD. But the journey doesn’t stop when a recipient is paired with their service dog—it truly begins there.

We’ve seen firsthand that even with a fully trained dog, unexpected needs and costs can arise—specialized equipment, veterinary care, emergency travel, or simply support during the adjustment period. These moments can make a world of difference for our heroes and their new companions.
