Public Works Art Center is so much more than a space for art - it is the cultural and creative cornerstone of downtown Summerville and a place where community thrives. Here, neighbors connect with friends new and old, people of all ages develop confidence in themselves, and opportunities abound for individuals to understand themselves and one another better through exhibitions, classes, camps, open mic nights, children's shows, student opportunities, and so much more.

Your donation has a positive impact on the creativity, mental health, imagination, and social lives of scores of Lowcountry residents and visitors.

Your donation also impacts the town economy. Public Works Art Center has welcomed over 29,000 people just this year, free of charge. Many of those visitors shop, dine, and drink around town, and some even come and stay in our hotels and bed and breakfasts and purchase gas here! Our presence in Downtown Summerville helps the surrounding economy thrive.
