PLAY A PART IN THE FUTURE OF CIVIC THEATRE!

On June 13, 2026, CIVIC IN CONCERT: CHESS will take the stage at the Payne & Mencias Palladium for one unforgettable evening benefiting Civic Theatre. This special event is more than a performance. It’s an investment in the future of theatre in Central Indiana.

As Civic Theatre celebrates its 111th continuously running season, we remain proud to be one of Central Indiana’s longest-standing arts institutions, bringing generations together through storytelling, creativity, and community.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 this evening to support a new scene shop and creative workspace for Civic Theatre. As redevelopment plans continue in Midtown, the future of our current shop space remains uncertain. We are working to create a permanent home where sets can be built, productions can be stored, and local artists and craftspeople can collaborate and create.

This new facility will not only support Civic Theatre productions, but also provide opportunities for local builders, designers, and creators to work and grow within our arts community.
