In July 2019 our father was diagnosed with rectal cancer. After surgery, several months of chemotherapy, and years of follow-up visits, I am blessed to say that he is healthy and strong. 💙 At the time of my father's diagnosis I knew very little about the disease and the devastating impact it has in the lives of so many. My dad was extremely fortunate enough to have great doctors, treatment options, and a large support system. Unfortunately, many people are not as lucky as my dad. My goal is to spread awareness and raise funds in order to help fight this disease.” Along with my dad, brother Ryder, mom Dawn, and other cancer survivors and advocates, I am proud to be joining Climb for a Cure. On July 20th, the fifth anniversary of my dad being cancer free, my family and I will be climbing the Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN.
