Have you ever assumed you’d have all the time in the world to accomplish something—until the chance slipped away?
For me, it was climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with my dad cheering me on.My father was born in Kenya, spent time in Tanzania, and came to the U.S. as a young student, filled with dreams of making life better for others.
He saw things others didn’t.When office buildings sat empty at night and people facing homelessness needed shelter, he connected the dots.
He gave them a place to be, a job to do, and the first steps to a fresh start.
Growing up in a home that blended languages, cultures and traditions, I saw firsthand how diversity enriches us—and how at times, it creates challenges.
My dad’s way of breaking down barriers and bridging cultures shaped who I am today: a communicator, a connector, and someone dedicated to making a difference.
When my father passed away in 2021, I realized I’d taken for granted that he’d be here to witness my climb.
So now I’m going up that mountain, carrying his legacy with me.
Together with my team, I’m on a mission to do what he always did—to help people see their potential and give them the tools to thrive.
We’re passing along the soft skills, communication techniques, and ways to bridge divides that open doors for entrepreneurs in East Africa. But this climb, this mission, needs the support of people like you.
Every share, every bit of support, every donation—fuels this journey.
Together, we’re not just climbing a mountain.
We’re paving the way for others to rise, too.
Share this story, support our climb, and help make a lasting impact in East Africa.
