This past year has been an incredible journey of growth culminating in a text out of the blue asking me if I want to join a group of entrepreneurs and leaders on a trek with a purpose up Mt Kilimanjaro.  

Why this journey with Accelerate Change is so important for me is that I'm in a point in my life where I'm looking for direction, a bigger mission in life and ways to start giving back in a meaningful way.  For those of you who know me well, you also know that I've always wanted to go do charity work in Africa and this is a step in that direction.  The Universe/Spirit/God, whichever Higher Power you believe in dropped this in my lap.  

This  is an opportunity to spend time in two of my favorite activities; hiking and personal development.  It will challenge me physically and mentally, where I will return a better person and leader.  I am looking forward to connect and learn from others how I can have more impact in making the world a better place.  It is a tall order, a challenge that scares me a little bit as I'm committed to not only summit this mountain but also to step up and take action as a result.
