This year, over 1,500 people gathered for Disability Pride celebrations across Pennsylvania. In Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Williamsport, disabled people came together to do something radical: celebrate who we are.

Not in spite of disability. Because of it.

We created spaces where wheelchair users, Deaf folks, neurodivergent people, and disabled folks of all kinds could show up loud and proud. Comedy nights. Community gatherings. Stretching sessions. Conversations about accessibility that are changing how cities plan their events.

Now we're ready to grow.

In 2026, we want to launch monthly virtual events—bringing Pride to anyone with an internet connection. We're expanding celebrations to Erie, Washington, and Lancaster. We're growing our podcast, our advocacy work, and our reach across the Commonwealth.

But we can't do it without you.

Disability Pride PA is powered by grassroots support. No massive grants. No corporate backing. Just community members who believe disabled joy matters.
