Brighter Days Initiative General Fund

Brighter Days Initiative aims to provide support to those needing to escape Intimate Partner/Domestic Violence (IP/D V). The most dangerous time for someone in a IP/D V situation is when they are trying to leave. Brighter Days Int creates prepacked backpacks (an Exit Buddy) for those needing to escape quickly and may not have time to pack even an overnight bag. Brighter Days Int backpacks have a change of clothes, a basic toiletry kit, phone charger, and a comprehensive file of resources. That way the individual has at least a day or two's worth of basic needs met while making a plan to get out and get safe.
