Coach Laura Pisano Scholarship Fund

​Goals Fast-Pitch has set up a scholarship fund in the Memory of our beloved Coach, Board Member, Mentor and Friend Laura Pisano. She passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2020. The Goals Family Heartbroken over the loss of such a wonderful human being created this scholarship to keep her spirit alive on the field and in Our Community.
Coach Laura had been with Goals for 5+ years and was a Board Member for the last 3 years of her short life. She was our Volunteer of the Year in 2018 and coached Championship teams in 2018 & 2019. She was an Assistant Coach for our 2019/2020 18U Lady Ranger team and has coached other Lady Ranger teams in past years.
Coach Laura was the sweetest, kindest, dedicated and most caring person one could meet. She touched so many young girls lives and they were better for it. She was not only a coach but most importantly a mentor to the girls of Goals and especially to our Lady Ranger Travel Program.
Coach Laura was a member of the NYPD Crime Scene Unit in Queens NY as a DNA Specialist.  She loved to teach the girls about her profession and the NYPD.  
The Coach Laura Pisano Scholarship is awarded to a member of the Goals League and/or Coaching staff who is or will be pursuing a major or career in Law Enforcement, First Responder Majors such as Nursing, the Sciences and Teaching as Laura was a teacher on and off the field of play.
