At Children of Grace, we believe nourishment is a key indicator in the long-term success of a child AND community. The Farm at Children of Grace was designed and developed by a student graduate Ishmail to be both a power source of nutrition for our students and to serve our community.

Ishmail graduated with a degree in Agriculture and has used his expertise to create a self-sustaining farm model that uses the profits from cash crops and invests those back into the farm to cover its growth and management.

As we continue to develop and expand our farm operations, we need your help to raise $25,000 to fund crucial needs that will ensure the farm becomes a fully self-sustainable project.

Our Goal: $25,000

With your generous support, we aim to raise $25,000 to cover the costs of three essential items that will greatly enhance the productivity and sustainability of our farm:

A Farm Truck - $10,000
A reliable farm truck will allow us to efficiently transport crops, supplies, and equipment across the farm and to markets. This will not only reduce the time and labor involved but also help us increase the farm’s output and reach.
Planting & Installing a Drip Irrigation System for Cocoa Crops - $12,000
Cocoa is one of our key cash crops, and a drip irrigation system will ensure that our crops receive the precise amount of water needed to thrive. This system will increase yield, reduce water waste, and enable us to grow high-quality cocoa that supports both our students and the broader community.
A Shelling Machine - $3,000
Shelling beans and maize by hand is time-consuming and labor-intensive. A shelling machine will streamline this process, reduce costs, and allow us to process larger quantities of these essential crops, providing more food for our students and surplus for the community.
