This year has been a banner year for our organization and if you are reading this page, you are a big reason why! Thank you so much for your ongoing generosity and support - here is a recap of what we were able to do with your help:

Golf in Schools was launched in the Fall of 2024 with COJGA Coaches going into 3 elementary schools in the Redmond School District for 2 week units. With the rotating nature of Phys. Ed. class, each student (grades 3, 4 and 5) had at least 2 sessions of golf learning! We have 5 additional schools scheduled for the Spring and we are hoping to expand these exposure learning experiences into Madras, Prineville, Bend and La Pine!

We are also launching a new Team component to COJGA as well as the Golf Professional Partner Program which will allow local area professionals to have a deeper connection to our area's junior players. These community Partners will captain a Team of COJGA players by holding practices for them as well as provide experienced recommendations for further development. Each team will be competing in a season-long competition to see which team will hoist the trophy at the COJGA Cup! Our "Partner Pros" will also be holding a COJGA Camp experience at their facility to allow for all young players in our Central Oregon community to access affordable professional coaching!

Since 1993, Central Oregon Junior Golf Association (COJGA) has offered young people the opportunity to compete in a sport that requires focus, perseverance, honesty, integrity and sportsmanship — shaping life skills that last a lifetime.

Our motto - Grow With Golf – has become the foundation for this worthwhile cause. By engaging in our golf programs, children develop maturity, self-confidence, and respect for others.

Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and community support, COJGA is poised to take a significant leap forward. We are expanding our offerings and implementing a more comprehensive developmental roadmap. The Grow with Golf curriculum will take our youngest players on a journey of mastery through developmental programs such as Discover Golf and GIRLS GOLF, then on to organized team play through PGA Jr. League, and culminating into our renowned COJGA Tour Series. In addition, we are adding mentoring and intern programs to engage teens and past participants.

Your donations will empower us to:

Subsidize program registration fees and purchase equipment, making golf accessible to all.
Expose thousands (yes, thousands) of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders to the game of golf through our Golf In Schools program. We collaborate with Phys. Ed. teachers in Central Oregon to provide an introduction to the game in a safe and welcoming setting.
Introduce the COJGA Card program, which will provide affordable access to Central Oregon golf courses ($5-$10) and range balls ($2-$3) for juniors who have completed our rules and etiquette training.
Provide compensation to our dedicated coaches, including the inspiring 15+ year-olds in our mentor/intern program.

Our not-for-profit program is offered to the youth of our community in the hopes that it will make a positive impact on their lives, regardless of gender, religion or socio-economic background. By supporting COJGA, you're not just funding a program; you're investing in the future of our community, allowing our youth to Grow with Golf and become amazing human beings.
