On Saturday, July 13, 2024, you are invited to celebrate the goodness of all lives at Biking for Babies' Celebration of Life in St. Louis!

Hosted by the local St. Joseph Church and Christ Prince of Peace Church Respect Life communities, this family-friendly event gives us just another reason to celebrate that each and every life is a gift. Our event features the 2024 Biking for Babies missionaries, riding into St. Joseph's parking lot after a combined 3600 miles across the nation and sharing why they sacrificed so much for the sake of mothers and babies in unplanned pregnancies.

You'll walk away with:

inspiration that young people are not complacent but on fire to defend and celebrate life
encouragement to do more in your own community and family life, and
the resources, prayers, and connections to help you do so.

You can expect:

a free meal, courtesy of Knights of Columbus Council 9522 and the Lyons Family
basket raffles and a 50/50 raffle
a Kids Zone, with inflatable bounce houses and more
and so much more.

WHY A "CELEBRATION OF LIFE?" - Our mission to renew the culture of life starts and ends with the awareness that each and every gift is an amazing and unrepeatable gift, whose mere existence is something worth celebrating!

WHY BIKING? - We use cycling as a vehicle for proclaiming the inherent dignity of every human life, from conception until natural death. It gets us from A to B faster than walking, is extremely visible as we go throughout the country, and is an exercise many people enjoy for recreation--we're just taking it to the next level! (Plus, it's the method our co-founders chose back in 2009.)

WHY BABIES? - In 1993, when Pope John Paul II visited Denver, CO for World Youth Day, he told the crowd, "Woe to you if you do not succeed in defending life." And in his 1997 departure from the US, his farewell address centered around his exhortation: "If you want equal justice for all, and true freedom and lasting peace, then, America, defend life!"

So we're just doing our part, championing the initial and fundamental right to life, after which all other rights can be championed. And we stand by that--we also focus on supporting women and families in their pregnancies, especially those that are difficult or unexpected, by supporting the organizations that provide resources and assistance. These organizations support women beyond the birth of their child, and we unite our missions to create a community for women and their families.
