P2P Community Development Inc. is dedicated to addressing the extreme cold weather response in our communities with our “Cold Weather Survival Equipment Kits” that includes, waterproof sleeping bags, warm clothing (coat, scarf, beanie, gloves) backpacks, hygiene kits, water, and food. With the help of our support partners, we will do all we can to address the needs of those experiencing homelessness and harsh weather. Our goal is to mobilize and deploy outreach workers in our communities where the homeless population has been identified and to provide them with the resources identified as needed for their survival during the tough times. Our goal is to help empower them to help improve their conditions with the ultimate goal of getting them off the streets and back into homes and reunited with their families. Homelessness is a major problem that is only getting worse. It is not going to go away. We all need to be part of the solution as it is a humanity crisis that requires a wholistic approach and our full attention as community leaders!
