The effects of COVID-19 can be felt all over the world. COVID-19 has especially roared through the American landscape leaving physical, emotional, and economic devastation in its wake.

COVID-19 has caused schools nationwide to close for undetermined amounts of time, and millions of vulnerable children are losing the school meals they depend on. While there are many incredible food banks and other feeding initiatives to supplement federal nutrition programs, many parents have shared they are working multiple jobs to survive, and are unable to spend the hours required to stay in staggering, miles-long lines at food pantries. We simply cannot expect hunger relief organizations to meet the need alone!

COVID-19 is also adding to what already was an underrecognized global mental health crisis. Anxiety and depression are rising. Feelings of loneliness and isolation are skyrocketing. With many clinics already on the brink of collapse, and unable to mobilize directly into communities, we feel called to help especially those in marginalized communities.

Your generosity will support Collective Influence in mobilizing solutions to:

Serve meals to over 25,000 people in most need of meals, especially those where schools have been mandated to distance learning leaving many children vulnerable.
Provide mental wellness events in 40 of the most vulnerable cities where over 200 nationwide counselors will be able to share techniques with families and children struggling with the effects of the pandemic.
