College Kickoff Kits

Hi, I’m Briasha Townsend, founder of Blessed On Purpose, a Milwaukee-based nonprofit committed to helping young girls walk boldly in their purpose through mentorship, faith, and college and career readiness.

Last year, we were able to serve 12 graduating seniors, providing them with dorm essentials as they prepared to begin their college journey. This year, we are expanding our impact.

We are launching our annual College Kickoff Kit Drive with a goal to serve 20 graduating high school seniors heading to college.

Each kit includes dorm essentials such as Twin XL bedding, pillows, laundry hampers, detergent pods, shower caddies, hangers, hygiene items, school supplies, and other necessities — packed with care to ease the transition into campus life.

Our goal is to raise $3,500 to provide 20 complete kits at approximately $175 per student.
