What is College Ventures and why should you donate to our organization? 

College Ventures is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a strong mission.

We are driven by two goals; 

1. To make college more accessible for high school students from underprivileged backgrounds and;

2. To develop the students of today into tomorrow's compassionate leaders.

We began operating in 2019 when our founder was a senior at the University of Illinois. He wanted to get involved in a student-led non-profit organization in the higher education space, but couldn't find one.

College Ventures is unique, as we are almost entirely ran by passionate college students who are looking to make a positive impact.

Our organization has quickly expanded to multiple universities across the country with the intent to continue its growth and provide students with scholarships for years to come.

Last year we were able to provide a student at the University of Arizona with a $10,000 scholarship to be used throughout her 4 years at Arizona. 

This year our aim is to raise $30,000 across 3 college campuses to provide 3 additional students with $10,000 scholarships.

How is the money raised and what is the money used for?

We raise 100% of our money through donors like yourself. 

College students across the country have joined together in volunteering their time to fundraise for this powerful cause and to make a positive impact. 

Current members participate in student-led fundraisers at their universities by recruiting. 

Participating college students are expected to fundraise by way of social media, planning and executing community events, and reaching out to family, friends, and their college community (among other creative methods).

High school seniors who qualify for a College Ventures scholarship can then apply on our website and go through a brief interview process. Scholarships are awarded based on a strong need for financial support, among other contributing factors.
