As the country has moved beyond a moment of awakening and urgency, we recognize the life-giving practices and networks we all need to keep moving towards an abolition horizon; a world free of punitive systems, rooted in care, connection and accountability. In the spirit of this vision, come explore how to live transformative justice in our everyday lives. How do we honor what this requires of us and the connections that make it possible? How do we sustain ourselves?

We look to nature as a home and a guide. In the spirit of mycelium, as described by Adrienne Maree Brown, we are looking to gather our Unity Circles community to strengthen our web of connection, help us build our underground networks, and to explore how we can help nourish and care for ourselves and each other in this lifelong work.

Unity Circles is dedicated not only to supporting and developing a community of skilled and passionate young people, but also to building a community ecosystem which mirrors a vision of the larger society we are invested in co-creating.
