Hungry Hearts: COMPASSION KITS

Distributing Compassion Kits to our community's most vulnerable individuals, including the unhoused, economically disadvantaged youth, and elderly, has been instrumental in providing essential supplies to those in desperate need. These kits address immediate necessities such as food, water, clothing, and personal hygiene items, offering items like water bottles, non-perishable food, socks, blankets, toothbrushes, and soap, which significantly improve daily life.

For over 2 years, we've been distributing Compassion Kits, bringing moments of hope to those in dire circumstances. As seasonal changes approach, we aim to enhance these kits by including sunscreen, aloe vera, hats, cooling towels, bug repellant, deodorant, wipes, and feminine hygiene products. 

Experiencing homelessness can be dehumanizing, but Compassion Kits demonstrate care and empathy, affirming the dignity and worth of individuals who may feel marginalized and ignored by society. Your donation, typically costing between $7-9 per kit, now estimated at $9 for males and $11 for females due to summer necessities, makes a profound difference in their lives.

2024 update: we are looking to add handheld umbrellas to the Compassion Kits ahead of this summer as record highs are expected as early as late June.
