In July 2027, Washington D.C. will host the 109th Lions International Convention — the largest gathering of service leaders on the planet. Over 20,000 Lions from more than 120 countries will descend on our nation’s capital to celebrate our global impact.

And WE are the hosts.

As members of MD-22, we have the distinct honor and massive responsibility of welcoming the world to our backyard. But an event of this magnitude requires a foundation built by the people who believe in it most.

That is why we are launching the Convention Builders campaign.

We are asking every single Lion in Multiple District 22 — and Lions across the globe who believe in our mission — to step up and donate just $20.

Why $20?

Because grassroots power is the heart of Lionism. A $20 donation is the cost of one lunch out, or one tank of gas. But when 5,700 Lions come together, that $20 turns into $114,000 of immediate, critical funding.

City-Wide Hospitality: Ensuring 20,000+ global guests feel the warmth of our districts.
Volunteer Coordination: Equipping the hundreds of Lions needed to run the event smoothly.
The International Parade: Logistics for the iconic Parade of Nations down the streets of D.C.
Local Impact: Large-scale community service projects executed during the convention.
