At a time when deep one-to-one relationships are becoming rarer and funding environments are more uncertain, the mission of Citizen Advocacy is needed more than ever. People with disabilities remain at risk of social exclusion, societal harm, and devaluation. This conference focuses on the 5 core principles and 7 key activities of Citizen Advocacy, with particular attention to advocate recruitment, orientation, matching, follow-along & support, and the imagery principle, exploring how programs can remain strong, relevant, and sustainable while staying true to our principles and key activities.
