Why Emergency Funds?
Emergency funds pay for one-off expenses that can mean the difference between moving forward or tragically returning to an abusive relationship.
Just $50 covers a week’s worth of groceries or a tank of gas, for example. A larger gift could help a survivor cover the cost of a burdensome medical bill from abuse, or a car repair to get to work.
