At Cottontail Cottage, we believe in giving every animal a second chance at life, and we view it as a privilege to support these vulnerable creatures. Our mission extends beyond rehabilitation to restoring hope and balance to our ecosystems. We provide all our services free of charge to the community, operating solely on donations and with the support of our dedicated volunteers.

Annually, our 100% volunteer run rescue, rehabilitates and releases over 500 wild animals, with a focus on endangered and threatened species native to New York. Our 24/7 wildlife hotline receives more than 300 calls each month, demonstrating the community's trust in our ability to offer immediate assistance and care to wildlife in need.
