Coupon for Change was created to amplify the impact couponing can have in our community. At the moment, we make frequent donations of free or very heavily discounted couponed items to our local South Philly Community Fridge and to the Love Lot in Kensington. Other connections are in the works! For example, we're about to donate a large duffle bag of school and personal care supplies to the Philadelphia nonprofit, Change Up Sports.

Our goals are to spread information and resources to help families save money, and also to fundraise money to be able to support increased donations of items that were couponed for free or for a heavy discount. As one person, you can make an impact, but as a group, you can go much further together. The hope is to be able to coupon donations sustainably for years to come and for others to join in!

If I donate, how will I know what my donation is being used for?

That's a great question. If you make a donation, we will work with you to decide what project you'd like it to go towards. There's a lot of flexibility on what you'd like to work towards. In the past, we donated books to the nonprofit Philly Book Bank (formerly Reading Recycled) and would be happy to again. In the most recent project, I worked to collect school supplies and other personal care items which was donated to Change Up Sports.

We also make routine donations to the Love Lot in Kensington and to our local South Philly Community Fridge in South Philly and your donation could help make that more sustainable. If you have another idea and it's compatible with items we'd be able to coupon or otherwise buy with the donation, we're all ears!

Please note that we cannot provide a tax receipt for your donation because we are not a registered 501(c)(3) entity.
