A Story Of Struggle, Strength & Survival
Michael Guinn is a male childhood trauma survivor residing in Texas, who now uses the power of spoken word storytelling to share truth & transparency in a courageous display of healing and inspiration.
One day while working as a Child Abuse Investigator he came in from a rough day in the field. Drained he came in, slumped in his chair, put his head down and started crying and when he lifted his head, he had a pen in his hand and a very first thing he wrote was “what good is my masters degree if I can’t be the master of me”, and after that everything came pouring out, including his own childhood trauma.
Michael holds a masters degree in Social Work and has become an internationally renowned award winning Spoken Word artist, speaker and presenter. This social worker turned actor has also appeared in films, on stage and in television series and is currently streaming on Amazon, Peacock, Netflix, Tubi, YouTube and Roku.
Michael has the classic “Creator Personality” where he uses the energy of the moment combined with social interaction to create something new and exceptional, that wasn't previously there, and that now has enduring value to listeners. He helps others express themselves and to strive to bring their experiences to life through creative self-expression.
