Dear friends,

We are so thankful for your support this year and feel like we have already asked for so much, so this is hard to ask for. Our 2025 would start off with a bang if we were able to cover expenses that are still lingering over us. This year we unexpectedly took in 2 additional animals in need. We planned for Molly the cow, but when we were Sybill the goat's last hope for survival…we couldn’t say no. Our mission is to help abused and neglected animals live a full life, therefore we felt compelled to give Sybill a chance. We honestly thought we could at least lay her to rest respectfully but Sybill had other plans in mind....like surviving and growing into an amazing goatie girl! We also thought this was our mini horse, Queen B's, last summer and rushed to finish her final wish... a new grazing pasture. She has survived 30 years of abuse and neglect and we wanted one last amazing summer for her. Thanks to you, we did all of this and more in 2024! As a result, there have been more expenses so we have not been able to pay off the original cow shed this year as we hoped.

We would love to raise $2,400 by December 31!

This is what we have left to pay for the original cow shelter from 2023. Unfortunately, we never raised enough money for this in 2023. Marge the yak desperately needed the shelter, so we rented it to own. Throughout the year, we used donations to the priorities above. The priority for donations is always animal care (feed, hay, vet care), so we put the shed as a last priority. We would love to pay this off in 2024. It would allow us to be more financially secure in 2025 without a large monthly expense looming. This is why we love the sustainability of sponsors. Our current Sponsors cover only the cost of monthly grain and shavings for all the animals, which is huge but there are still a lot of expenses to cover. January and February are usually low donation months for us because it is a quiet time of year and we are just trying to survive winter. Winter is very hard in our area of NH and our focus is maintaining the animals' health and wellbeing during the environmental extremes of sub zero temps, ice and snow.

Any amount of donation, big or small, is helpful for us to reach our goal. We are a nonprofit public charity organization, therefore your gifts are tax deductible. We appreciate your support this year and how it enabled us to impact abused animals lives in a major way. We are excited to see what 2025 will bring!
