Please join the Philly Cooks for an educational and fact-finding tour of the iconic D.C. Central Kitchen on Tuesday, October 21.

Philly Cooks was established as a nonprofit to drive the relocation of the production of federally reimbursed meals - made to primarily feed our youth - from New York to Philly. Let's keep funding here, while creating new jobs and careers for Philadelphians.

Get an update on our progress, and hear from Blueprint Commercial, our commercial real estate broker. Pat Clancy from Philadelphia Works will be presenting as well as the Chef Ann Foundation. Melanie Cataldi of Hygieia Consulting will be bringing us up to date on the development of our Business Plan Study.

You will also engage with the leaders of DCCK, including their CEO, Mike Curtin. The power of quality food created for others will be on full display. You will truly walk out of the building with a sense of inspiration and obligation to bring this initiative home for our residents.

We only have 25 total seats so register now - before September 9 - to save your spot. Costs will be covered by Philly Cooks but if you choose to pay your own way, you will receive another link for ticket payment after September 9.

More details forthcoming, but the train departs 30th St Station at 7:39am, and we return to 30th St Station at 3:52pm.
