Will you help us with these unexpected projects that are distracting us from caring for women and children?

We've had an exciting last month that has left us with some considerable, un-budgeted expenses. Could you believe that we had a tree limb fall on our roof precisely on the day that we confirmed a pastor could come and bless our office space? This came at the same time as dealing with technology issues, plumbing problems and staffing challenges.

While most of the damage is being covered by insurance, the tree limb falling has caused us to take down the rest of the rotting tree before it could cause more damage. That left a huge, unsightly hole in our fence, including 25 ft of retaining wall that was also damaged by the tree roots. So while we have always wanted to replace our fence, that project has become far more urgent than our budget currently allows.

Is God calling you to help us cover these considerable costs so that our amazing staff (currently feeling a little discouraged) can get back to focusing on caring for women in their time of urgent need and keeping families safe from the devastation of abortion? Like Isaiah will you echo his words and answer the call, "Here I am! Send me."

Amidst all of this, we were still able to help this young lady...

A young patient in her late teens had never been pregnant before and came in undecided about the pregnancy. She thought she was about 12 weeks along, but she had only just found out she was pregnant the week prior. Her boyfriend, parents and her boyfriend's parents were all aware of the pregnancy and would support her whether she wanted to terminate the pregnancy or not. Both sets of parents mentioned that they could adopt the baby. Everyone was quite surprised to find the ultrasound showed a healthy baby that was over 20 weeks along, more than half-way through her pregnancy! The patient and her boyfriend were in shock and stated that they needed to think things over at home. They left the appointment undecided. However, during a follow-up call, the patient joyfully told us that she wants to keep the baby. She came in for a follow up appointment, and she was at peace and ready to start prenatal care.
