Hi! My name is Sadie Rose Fischer and this is my second year a part of the Jewish Teen Foundation of San Diego. This year, we are focusing on victims of gun violence. Our mission is specifically to support those in need by providing mental health resources and physical support. This cause is important to me because of all of the recent gun violence that has been happening in the past few years and has made the tough lives of these victims more prevalent in society, meaning it is more important than ever to support them. All of the money raised goes directly to organizations we decide that best align with our mission statement. Through participation, I have learned how to make hard calls and collaborate well this others, along with understanding how many different ways there are to make a good difference in the world.
