Hi friends and family,

When I think back on the pregnancies and births of our children Nazret and Nehemiah, I am grateful. With both children, I had a supportive spouse, amazing midwives, a doula, friends and family, and excellent insurance coverage, amen? I would never describe any pregnancy or childbirth as "easy", even in the best circumstances, but I know that I had it good.

All caregivers deserve the experience my family had!

And so for this final pregnancy, in lieu of a baby shower, I invite you to support Mind Body Baby NC, a non-profit whose mission is to "provide education, resources and social-emotional support to individuals and families in the Charlotte area - through the pregnancy, birthing and postpartum experience."

My initial goal was $3,000 (in honor of our third kiddo!) by Sept 15th to support their excellent work but you all have been so generous, I figured we could shoot for even more as a great way to kick off the birth of #3. We would love to tell my third the story of how their birth inspired a gift that benefited others.

I am scheduled to deliver on Sept 21st, so we plan to wrap the campaign on Sept 15th. Can you give before then?
