From the day I first saw Camp Takodah in 1983, I have been a passionate and dedicated Takodian.
As 30th President, Chief Volunteer Officer, Historian, a proud parent of two Takodians, a long time Cabin Dad, a former camper, and a holder of a CT17 (and counting), I am committed to helping ensure any child who wants to go to camp is able to go regardless of their ability to cover the cost.
Why?
Because I firmly believe summer camp is an essential building block of growing up by providing an environment in which children can stay connected to nature and make friends in a rustic setting full of wonderful, encouraging traditions.
I am a regular donor and I work hard to encourage others to donate as well. Will you join me? No donation is too small or too big. My goal is simple: raise $1,975 - the cost of sending one child to Takodah for a two-week session.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to having your support as we work tirelessly to ensure Camp Takodah is open for our 106th summer in the beautiful woods of Southern New Hampshire.
