THE TONY AWARD - WINNING PRODUCERS
The Tony Award-winning producers of A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical are excited to announce their partnership with Kids with a Cause: Children’s Theatre Company (CTC) as their charity partner. CTC, known for its work on Henry Box Brown: A Musical Journey (also headed to Broadway), will play a key role as the educational partner in this collaboration.
This partnership aims to create a new model for Broadway, blending commercial and educational theater to inspire, educate, and connect diverse communities. Led by Martian Entertainment’s Carl D. White and Gregory Rae, along with producers Thomas E. Rodgers, Jr., Renee Rodgers, and Vanessa Williams, this collaboration seeks to bring the rich diversity of our communities to the stage, empowering audiences through shared experiences.
JOIN US IN CELEBRATING 25 YEARS
Join us in celebrating CTC’s 25 years of impact by making a contribution and social-action pledge to the Children’s Theatre Company. Together, we can support a new canon of untold and heroic stories and develop a model that harmoniously integrates commercial and educational theater, empowering communities through the transformative power of the arts.
MISSION
The “Kids with a Cause: Children’s Theater Company”, a non-profit 501c3 organization, is rooted in the belief that through the magic of theater as a tool for moral reasoning, children and youth can become the voices of positive change and agents of healing in their communities. Inspired by the society-building principles of the Baha’i Faith, CTC believes that the highest form of artistic expression lies in its capacity to promote social good and foster positive change.
