Summer in Bradley County does not cool off, and neither does the need. When the heat index climbs into dangerous territory, access to cold water is not a luxury. It is genuinely survival.

This summer, CTNCR is setting up cooling stations stocked with cold water, ice, and hot-weather supplies for anyone who needs them. Our unhoused neighbors. The day laborer walking home. The kid on a bike. The person waiting at a bus stop with nowhere shady to stand. No questions asked, no proof of need required. If you are hot, the water is for you.

Heat is one of the deadliest weather conditions there is, and it hits hardest for people who cannot get out of it. Mutual aid means we do not wait for someone else to solve that. We show up for each other, right now, with what people need.

Your donation keeps the stations running all season. We refill water and ice on a regular rhythm and restock supplies as the heat demands. Every dollar goes straight into hydration on the ground.
