Scotty Thomson, Founder, RN, BSN, IBCLC with Gulf Coast Lactation is dedicated to supporting pregnant and postpartum families in Baldwin and Mobile Counties. We specialize in guiding families through a successful breastfeeding journey and a confident fourth trimester and beyond. Our mission is to deliver expert lactation care, essential maternal health services, and compassionate support through personalized consultations, classes, and resources for new and expectant parents. We are excited to announce we have secured a location off of 181 in Daphne and plan to open late summer 2025.
We offer a welcoming environment where families can find connection, encouragement, and expert guidance during this transformative time. To ensure all families have access to support, GCL proudly provides free breastfeeding and fourth trimester support groups for those facing financial barriers. The breastfeeding support groups will be led by Scotty Thomson. The fourth trimester groups will be led by Michelle Lloyd of Newborn and Nanny Professionals.
