BLACK AND LATINO MALE FELLOWSHIP

Help CV recruit and support the next Fellowship cohort. Since its launch, the Fellowship has been highly successful, creating a pathway to college for twenty young men from Providence and Pawtucket public schools. Our goal is to continue and expand the program in the coming year. Your donation will have a direct impact by making this opportunity available to more young Black and Latino males in our community.

COLLEGE-TO-CAREER PROGRAM

CV is building programming to help students navigate the college to career transition. Current offerings include career exploration activities, professional skill-building workshops, networking opportunities, internship application support, and a Career Mentoring Program that pairs students with professionals in their fields of interest. Your donation will help CV scale this work and ensure that every CV Scholars receives the support they need to navigate the college-to-career process.

EMERGENCY GRANTS

CV provides grants ranging from $50-$900 to support basic needs of students who have exhausted all other means of support. The most frequent requests for support are for textbooks, class materials, transportation, dorm room essentials, exam or application fees, and groceries. This research-based intervention ensures that a small expense does not disrupt or derail a student’s education.
