At Stanford Strikers, our mission has always been to create a positive and empowering environment for young players. As we grow and build the next generation of soccer players, we know that the foundation of success is not just in their training – but in the development of our coaches who guide them every step of the way.

To ensure our players receive the highest level of coaching, we're launching a fundraising campaign focused on enhancing our coaching programs. By investing in our coaches, we will improve the quality of training, instill better skills, and ultimately empower our athletes to succeed both on and off the field.

Soccer is one of the few sports that offers, and in some countries requires, sport-specific education and certification. In the United States, we have our national federation (USSF) and the educational arm of the United Soccer Coaches organization (USC) offering grass roots and national level licensing for all who qualify. These are demanding courses that cover everything from how to teach skills and tactics based on age and ability level to science based research into the physical and psychological demands of the game and needs of the players. Taking these continuing education courses requires coaches to spend dozens of hours and often travel far away from home and at a considerable cost. Our club, Stanford Strikers, supports our coaches in their continuing growth because ultimately great coaching leads to a great experience for each and every player.
