Walk With SSEEO

What? A virtual walking event where participants can walk,run or bike to help raise funds

When? October 29th, in tandem with World Stroke Day from anywhere, anytime (can be prior during or after October 29th)

Why? To raise funds for SSEEO so we can support our mission and educate others on the warning signs of stroke

What Will The Donations Pay For?

Resources and support (technology,subscriptions,etc.)
Educational programs (peer support, therapy, etc.)
Educational events (both virtual and in-person)

Who We Are

Founded in 2004, Stroke Survivors Empowering Each Other, Inc. (SSEEO) is a grassroots volunteer-led 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing stroke advocacy, support, education and resources. SSEEO strives to improve the quality of life for stroke survivors and their families through program development,design and outcomes by using a patient-based data driven approach. B - Balance: Watch for sudden loss of balance
E - Eyes: Check for vision loss
F - Face: Look for an uneven smile
A - Arm: Check if one arm is weak
S - Speech: Listen for slurred speech
T - Time: Call 9-1-1 right away
